It is Feb 2014 and we are in the middle of a blizzard...again! Life is good, I have no complaints and know that I am blessed in many ways.
I am taking a Metal Smithing course and loving it. I have learned how to make wire into a bracelet and how to make a cuff also. Have learned how to punch metal and rivet. I do have a problem with the sawing of the sheets of metal because of my hands and the arthritis. But I think I will continue doing the smithing as it is such an enjoyment . I am working my way to rings and then earrings. fun fun fun.

Winter blues 2013 and Family History
It is January 2013 and I have Cabin Fever.....!!!!
I so much have a turmoil going on inside of me. I do know it is because I am not a snow person. I have almost always questioned why I live in a snowy region as I get the winter blues every year. That is one of the reason we are looking for a place to live where the snow really doesn't fall much if any, without moving to the deep South. I have gotten lazy a lot lately, but know this is part of the blues.
I still am working around the house and taking care of Tommy and Sadie so Monika can build her resume by working as a Vista volunteer. She will be done in August. She is trying to get into a school for MFA in Fictional writing and becoming a Professor of English or creative writing. Tommy seems to be controlling his Autism better and than sometimes it doesn't seem that way. Must be like life with ups and downs. Sadie is doing good and is still not using the toilet on a regular basis, again part of the Autism. All in all they are learning well and both are pretty smart.
So here I am again writing about my children and grandchildren...maybe there just is anything to say about myself.
I have had great success in this past year on my family history research finding many members of my family as far back for certain as 1595 on my Richard / Lambert side finding my native American roots in the MicMac tribe.
My English history is more complicated as there are in most lines children born out of wedlock leaving me without fathers lines to follow. What I am doing now is the Taylor line. Even with Harriets' three illegitimate children, which was not uncommon in the 1800's, I have been able to trace the line from her father William and her mother Mary Reasby Taylor. I have all of her siblings and am working on finding there spouses and children while researching for Williams' parents and Marys' parents. I have all of Harriets' childrens' spouses' found. Of course Sarah Taylor Wells is my Great Grandmother. I have located Henry her brother with Sarah Sedwick and Hannah her sister with Albert Fredrick Atkinson. I am so happy to get all of this right.
This picture is of me, Amy and Tommy when he was a real little one.
I don't have any resent pictures of me on this computer, but as you can see I love the ocean and my children and grandchildren.

The Fall the FUN and Family
Well here we are in October! The kids are funny..today playing on the back porch in the water in the chairs...lugs...water table...Sadie has a couple of apples that she keeps handy for a nibble every now and than...Tommy is still trying to help his sister to move (not good)....Sadie is not walking on her own yet....but...she walks like Frankinstien big high and heavy steps...just like Aunt Amy did...only Amy started walking at fifteen months on Christmas Eve 1979. Took Sadie out on the front lawn and piled the leaves over her she loves them falling down over her head...she giggles and laughs..love this baby girl!
